About Annaliese
My name is Annie and I am teaching English literature and language GCSEs. As someone who started off at the end of year 10 with mid grades for these subjects, I felt really disappointed, especially as someone who struggled with extreme exam anxiety. It took me six months to search through many textbooks and videos to compile thorough in-depth notes that score perfect marks, meaning whatever English exam I went into, I went in the most confident, more so than all my other subjects. Although still having exam stress by the end of my exams, English was by far my most confident.

As a student who is just starting university and has completed both my A levels and GCSEs, I am up to date with the curriculum for GCSE English Literature and English Language, which I specialise in teaching. With in-depth analysis of themes and characters to help students go from basic passes (grades 4/5) to grade 9s. I achieved full marks in English literature and have in-depth analysis worksheets, PowerPoints and am able to review step-by-step essays with students to improve their structure of essays.
