About Mia
My name is Mia!
I have helped all different grade levels from kindergarten to peer to peer tutoring in the 12th grade.
I am currently a student in college myself so I understand the challenges you may face but I also know how to help you overcome them!
I am extremely patient and want to provide a safe place for you to feel comfortable to ask as many questions as you would like!
Fun facts; I love reading and writing!
In my free time I write for fun and have been able to present poems and papers to administration members from California colleges.
I have helped several students improve their grades!

I provide one-on-one support that is personalized to help students succeed in achieving their goals. I am a student myself so I am able to connect with students in order to support them.
I can help with reading comprehension and truly grasping concepts in books, articles etc.
Allow students to feel confident in both the fundamentals and deep reading analysis or essay preparation.
*If needed I can help explain rubrics set by teachers or specific goals that wish to be met.
I allow students to find their writing styles and explore their voice in literature. From creating sentences that flow to proper preparation for essays I can adjust to all grade levels K-12.
I provide revising if necessary with detailed explanations to allow students to understand and improve.
My goal is to help students find their love for reading and writing :)
