About Francisca
Hello! I’m Francisca, an undergraduate Economics student at UCL. I have three years of tutoring experience and have supported students in developing their confidence and understanding across both maths and economics. I’m passionate about Economics and enjoy helping students not only improve academically, but also develop a genuine interest in the subject. I aim to create a friendly and supportive environment where students feel comfortable asking questions and are encouraged to reach their full potential.

My teaching approach is calm, supportive, and personalised to each student’s needs. Using my prior tutoring experience, I strive to make lessons both engaging and effective. Overall, my goal is to build my students' confidence, which in turn helps boost their enthusiasm and enjoyment of the topics they are learning. I focus not only on helping students understand the material but also on developing effective study habits that will help them beyond exams. My aim is to create a positive learning environment where students feel comfortable asking questions and exploring challenging concepts without fear of making mistakes.
Having recently completed my A-Levels and GCSEs, my knowledge of the curriculum and extra resources is current and precise, enabling me to teach complex concepts with clarity. Additionally, this experience allows me to connect with my students more effectively, which is key in building a positive and successful working relationship.
