About Brooke
As a registered nurse who holds an active license in Oregon, I feel I understand the struggles the healthcare community has with communicating with the general public. In fact, I was guilty of speaking in medical language that the everyday layman isn't exposed to. I have also authored several (7) courses for nursing credit and understand how the process works (a learning curve in itself). I have a course available to walk the healthcare professional through the step to writing accredited courses. Currently, I am employed as a senior copywriter for a health website, and also do a weekly podcast and articles and scripts for a caregiving app. I would like to help healthcare professionals communicate their areas of expertise to their target audience.

I teach through written, verbal and audio lessons.
Typical lesson plan:
Introduce yourself and your goals ( do you want a career as a health writer, want to learn how to write courses , tips on podcast, scripts, how to find and write engaging copy, copyright laws, etc.)
I then tailor a syllabus that is mutually agreed upon that can help meet your goals.
My over 10 years experience as a writer in many forms of media and target audiences sets me apart as a qualified tutor.
I would like to work with healthcare professionals who need help organizing and communicating their expertise into a readable, engaging form for their target audience.
