About Amanda
I am an experienced Singing tutor with over 12 years of teaching expertise and a strong passion for helping students achieve their musical ambitions. I teach School students, College students, and Working Professionals, providing personalised instruction that supports both technical growth and artistic development.
My teaching philosophy centres on creating a supportive and engaging learning environment. I believe students learn best when they feel comfortable, motivated, and encouraged to explore their abilities. Therefore, I design lessons that are tailored to each student's goals and interests.
My lessons cover vocal training, breathing techniques, pitch improvement, rhythm development, voice projection, articulation, vocal flexibility, and stage confidence. I use a variety of teaching methods, including practical exercises, song analysis, and performance reviews, to ensure students gain a complete learning experience.
In addition to Singing, I teach Music Theory, Ear Training, Vocal Coaching, and Music Appreciation. These subjects help students gain a deeper understanding of music and become more versatile performers. I also focus on vocal care and healthy singing practices.
My aim is to inspire students to develop confidence in their abilities and enjoy the process of learning music. Through patience, dedication, and expert guidance, I help learners achieve their goals and reach their full potential.

My methodology for teaching Singing focuses on complete vocal and musical development through flexibility, creativity, understanding, and effective time management. I aim to help students become skilled singers while also developing a deeper appreciation for music.
The learning process begins with understanding each student's goals, abilities, and musical interests. This allows me to create personalised lesson plans that support long-term growth and success.
Creativity is integrated into every lesson through vocal exercises, song analysis, listening practice, and performance activities. These experiences help students develop both technical expertise and artistic confidence.
My lessons cover breath control, pitch accuracy, rhythm awareness, diction, vocal tone, vocal health, expression, and stage performance. Students learn practical techniques that can be applied across different musical situations.
Understanding and patience help create a supportive atmosphere where students feel encouraged to take on challenges and reach their full potential.
Time management ensures that lessons remain focused and productive. Sessions include structured warm-ups, technical development, song practice, and performance coaching.
In addition to Singing, I can teach Music Theory, Ear Training, Sight Singing, Vocal Wellness, and Music Fundamentals. My goal is to help students become versatile, confident, and lifelong musicians who enjoy sharing their love for music with others.
