About Austin
I am a Bacherlor’s of Music student in Trumpet Performance, taking intensive private lessons for the past 2 years and playing in bands and orchestras for 10 years. I have almost 3 years worth of training in music theory and composition, and 14 years experience in piano.
I have taught adult students studying trumpet as a secondary instrument as well as collegiate and high school trumpets.

It is important to consider the many approaches of playing trumpet to help solve the problems of a stuent and teach him or her. Useful practice tools can be found everywhere from Arnold Jacobs to Bill Adam, and they can all be used to develop each student into a very strong player from the basics up. By working on the basics consistently, anyone can become an outstanding player.
