About Nal
My name is Nal Butolen and I am a 2nd year engineering student at Trinity College Dublin. I have graduated 1st year with honors and I have also achieved a Gold Matura (Slovenian education system, equivalent to H1) in my leaving certs.
I teach as I believe that quality education should be available for everyone and a solid understanding of STEM subjects is of vital importance for a successful career in any field.

I WILL OFFER A RATE OF €14 per hour FOR A MONTH FOR MY FIRST TWO STUDENTS!
I tailor my tutoring to meet each student's unique needs, learning style, and pace. I keep lessons interactive by encouraging students to ask questions, solve problems in real-time, and discuss their thoughts. This not only makes the class more engaging but also solidifies your understanding through active participation. I prioritize understanding over memorization. In mathematics and physics, I emphasize the reasoning behind formulas and methods rather than just applying them mechanically. I also guide the students through the process of deriving the answers, encouraging them to think independently rather than providing solutions right away.
Additionally, I also make sure to create a comfortable learning environment, as good mental headspace facilitates learning and understanding of topics.
Experience & Logistics Levels:
- I offer teaching up to early University level.
- I have previous, rewarding experience teaching children from socially vulnerable families at both elementary and high school levels.
- Lessons typically last 50 minutes, but personalised schedules can always be arranged.
Group rates (2-3 students) can be arranged for a discounted €18 per student/hour.
