Because I have 13 years of experience, I know that building vocabulary is most effective when it happens within the context of your specific professional or academic goals. We will use your writing skills and speaking practice to navigate the requirements of TOEFL preparation or general conversational fluency. I ensure that you understand the mechanics behind every correction so you can apply those concepts to future conversations on your own.

Being a native Spanish speaker who resides in Australia means I often view the English language through a unique lens. Surprisingly, my most effective teaching tools are not textbooks but the daily habits I developed while raising my own children. I have worked with 454 students across many backgrounds including IELTS candidates and university applicants. Listening comprehension and speaking confidence are the two pillars of my ESL instruction.
I work with business professionals to ensure they can navigate meetings without hesitation. My approach to accent softening is grounded in my Master of Arts in Applied Linguistics from Macquarie University. I enjoy helping absolute beginners find their voice while assisting experts in mastering phrasal verbs. You can expect a process that is flexible and straightforward.
