About Josh
I learnt Spanish when I grew up in Madrid as a child, so my first language.ms are English and Spanish.
For 8 months of the year, I work in the UAE as the head of watersports for an activity centre out there, so teaching for me is fun.
I really enjoy sharing my knowledge with others as much as possible, however with years of experience teaching people things outside of their comfort zone as an Outdoors Educator combined with a PGCE, I have learnt the skills which allow me to specialise my teaching to anyone at any level.
What fascinates me is the translations between English and Spanish, and how similar our languages actually are, but without either of us really knowing about it.

I like to take an approach that is designed ot build your confidence in your current language ability. If you can be confident in what you DO know then you can build off that quite a lot easier! This can be done though Zoom, Teams or GoogleMeet and invovles specialising the lessons around what you want to know.
To begin with lessons like this can be quite tiring so usually 40-60mins is more than enough, but lesson length can vary depending on how you progress and what you need.
I trained to achieve my PGCE and my QTS qualifications during the Covid-19 pandemic, so remote learning is also a familiar ground for me. During my training I taught in schools around Cornwall in the UK and provided for students from year 7 (KS3) up to A-Level (KS5).
Currently I am offering online learning to those who wish to progress their language with an added insight into how the Spanish culture adds twists to the language!

I am strictly based online as I travel a lot, so there's no need for you to come to me or vice versa.
Language learning should be fun and inexpensive.
