About Anna

I have a degree in Translation and Interpretation in English and in Russian at the University School of Translators and Interpreters of Bellaterra (Barcelona). I also studied English as a foreign language at Brunel Technical College in Bristol (England) (1988-1990) and Russian at MGU University in Moscow (Russia) (1992-1993). I hold a Master’s degree in secondary teacher training, vocational training and languages. Besides, I hold the First Certificate in English and the Advanced Certificate in Russian (5th course) from the Official School of Languages of Tarragona.
I usually use the method ESPAÑOL 2000 for the elementary level and APRENDE GRAMÁTICA Y VOCABULARIO for all levels. Besides, I use graded novels with their own audio, which encourage students to speak by commenting the story of the book and by asking and answering questions about it. This way, they learn a lot of new vocabulary and they lose their fear of talking. LOS FERNÁNDEZ, HISTORIAS BREVES PARA LEER, LOLA LAGO, and OTRO CASO DEL DETECTIVE PEPE REY, are a good example.
The fact that English and Russian are my two foreign languages, help me explain Spanish grammar to students who don’t know Spanish at all and to practise translation.

Anna es una persona muy formal, muy puntual en sus clases, con un alto nivel de inglés y que se adapta muy bien a tus necesidades. Lo primero que hace es preguntar cuál es tu objetivo a conseguir con las clases de inglés y a partir de ahí te hace un planning de trabajo para alcanzar resultados.
La recomiendo tanto si tu nivel es elemental como si tu nivel es alto. Ella adecuará la clase a tu ritmo.
El hecho de ser clases particulares especialmente pensadas para ti creo que tienen un valor importante. Además tiene flexibilidad horaria para personas con horarios complicados como es mi caso. Hemos tenido que cambiar algunas horas y nunca ha habido problema.
La recomiendo como una muy buena profesora de inglés.
