About Rose

Transforming struggling and avoidant readers into confident joyful learners -100% Online

Hi, I'm Rose the passionate educator behind The Reading Suite! With years of experience teaching in the classroom and virtually, I specialize in helping learners build strong decoding skills, master phonics and have a joy for reading. Using proven, evidence-based reading strategies and storytelling, I provide targeted intervention for students who are struggling, falling behind, or lacking confidence. Every lesson is tailored to your child's reading level, learning pace, and interest.

What I offer:
- Targeted phonics, decoding instruction & ELA for K-6
- Interactive 1-on-1 virtual sessions designed for real engagement
- Curated book discovery to match students with books tied directly to their personal interests
- Monthly tutoring packages (30 or 60-minute sessions from $25/session) to build consistent, goal driven progress
- Regular progress updates and practical resources to keep you informed every step of the way

Whether your child needs high impact reading intervention or a boost in reading confidence, I provide an environment where reading feels engaging and impactful.

Reading should not be presented to children as a chore, a duty. It should be offered as a gift. -Kate DiCamillo

Rose is an exceptional tutor. My 13-year-old son had little interest in writing, but after working with Rose, I saw an immediate transformation. His vocabulary and sentence structure improved noticeably, and she inspired him to hold himself to a higher standard. Thanks to her guidance, he finished the school year with an A in ELA.
