About Sahil
I am a trainee primary teacher with practical classroom experience working with children across the primary age range. Through my teacher training, I have developed skills in lesson planning, assessment, phonics, adaptive teaching and supporting pupils with different learning needs.
I am patient, reliable and committed to helping children feel confident in their learning. My aim is to create a calm and encouraging environment where pupils can ask questions, make mistakes and develop the skills they need to become more independent learners.

My lessons are friendly, structured and adapted to each child’s individual needs. I use clear modelling, guided practice and independent activities to help pupils understand new concepts, build confidence and become more independent learners.
Lessons can be offered online or in person. In-person lessons will take place at a safe, mutually agreed public location, such as a local library or community space.
A typical lesson lasts between 45 and 60 minutes and includes a short review, focused teaching, supported practice and an end-of-lesson check to assess progress.
I am currently training to become a qualified primary teacher and have classroom experience working with primary-aged children, including pupils with a range of learning needs. Although I am new to private tutoring, my teacher training has given me experience in lesson planning, assessment, adaptive teaching, phonics and supporting pupil progress.
My lessons are suitable for children aged 5–15 who need support with Maths, English, reading, writing, phonics, homework or SATs preparation.
