About Chimeremeze
My name is Chimeremeze Chinyere, musically known as MEZE (also known as C.I.C on TikTok). MEZE is a rising vocal artist whose sound blends gospel and inspirational music with classical depth and emotional conviction. An 19-year-old graduate of the Oakland Unified School District (OUSD), he was awarded a scholarship to pursue the study of law an achievement that reflects both academic excellence and disciplined artistry.
MEZE’s journey into the spotlight began under the visionary leadership of Emile Poree, Director of Music at OUSD, whose commitment to student excellence introduced him to transformative performance opportunities. He was later selected as one of the distinguished teen artists to participate in Keith Jackson’s Gratitude Dedicated to the Jackson Family Concert a landmark event celebrating legacy, arts, education, and youth empowerment. Chosen through the Connoisseur’s Choice Program, a selective initiative founded by Keith Jackson (first cousin to Janet and Michael Jackson) in partnership with the nonprofit iamformusic.org, MEZE exemplifies artistic excellence and community impact. The program provides exceptionally talented students with life-changing experiences alongside seasoned professionals, preparing them for college and beyond.
MEZE’s performance will be featured on the album and CD/DVD release of Gratitude Dedicated to the Jackson Family, scheduled for early 2026, with live concert appearances to follow. His work is deeply rooted in gospel and inspirational music, where his voice carries the maturity, discipline, and soul of a seasoned professional. In 2025, MEZE delivered a classical vocal performance before thousands at his graduation an electrifying moment that went viral on TikTok, garnering millions of views, widespread buzz, and standing ovations. Performing under the name C.I.C & MEZE, the moment cemented his reputation as a vocalist of rare presence and technical control. Following this period of recognition, MEZE was awarded Best Solo Singer in his city after leading and performing with a large choir an honor recognizing both vocal excellence and musical leadership.
MEZE believes that every voice carries a unique identity, and through disciplined technique, ear training, and vocal awareness, singers can unlock their true sound not imitation, but authenticity.

Details
All lesson fees are charged per hour and must be paid in advance to secure your session. Online and in-person lessons are available. In-person sessions include a transportation fee starting at $80, which may vary depending on distance, travel time, and location. The exact fee will be confirmed before booking. Lesson packages (5-hour and 10-hour bundles) are offered at a reduced hourly rate and must be used within an agreed time frame. Packages are non-refundable but may be rescheduled with proper notice. A free 30-minute introductory session (online only) is available for first-time students to ensure the coaching is a good fit. All coaching is results-focused, centered on vocal technique, control, ear training, voice differentiation, and performance development. Rates reflect professional-level instruction, personalized guidance, and limited availability.
