About Kd
I am a Doctor of Acupuncture, based in traditional Chinese and East Asian medicine. I have a background of 15 years in personal training, and strength & conditioning. I have a passion for helping others in the health field that started almost 30 years ago in high school and have spent my entire adult life learning, treating, teaching, and coaching others. In addition to my doctorate, I have a Master's in Exercise Science & Nutrition, and Acupuncture. I also hold three Bachelor's; in Psychology, Medical Anthropology, and Professional Studies of Acupuncture. I've had the honor to work with the elderly, children, student & professional athletes, expecting mothers, recovering addicts, and anyone you can think of. My goal has been to treat all people with a sense of duty to my oath and respect and learn from others as much as give. I approach my practice as more a guide or teacher (shifu) who believes that everyone can learn, grow and improve their mind, body, spirit.

Dr. of Traditional Medicine, I offer coaching on empowerment including meditation/mindfulness, sports nutrition, Traditional Chinese diet, self-acupressure, emotional control and overall health and wellness. I occasionally tutor health and wellness related topics such as medical anthropology, psychology, public health, kinesiology, nutrition, anatomy, etc.
Everyone I work with is treated as a unique individual and a lesson or coaching plan is devised specially for them. My aim is teach you something that you can take with you as a life lesson and to learn how to navigate challenges.
