Julia is by far the best person I’ve ever worked with math wise. She is very patient with people and when you don’t understand she teaches it to in a different way just so you can understand. I always leave feeling significantly more confident than when I came in. During tutoring sessions she very personable and is super sweet. I appreciate how she always makes time for me when needed. She literally is THE BEST!!! Definitely THE first choice for math help.

I've always said I'm "not a math person," and as a STEM major, math is not one of my strong suits. Julia has been my friend since high school, and she's always jumped in to help me with any sort of math, no matter the level. Julia makes sure you understand the core concepts of a skill (my biggest thing about math is WHY we do something, and she is always willing to explain!). She's made me personalized lesson plans and has made time at the drop of a hat to accommodate my crazy schedule, and I credit her as the reason I passed Pre-calc. She's one of the most thorough and considerate people I know, and she's never made me feel less than for taking a while on a math problem. She's extremely patient, even when I need her to explain something for the thousandth time. She'll always be my favorite math teacher!
