  • 1) When did you start practicing? How did this passion find you?

I started playing chess in childhood — it began as a fun hobby, but soon I realized it was more than just a game. I was fascinated by how every move had a story, a purpose, and a plan behind it. Over time, chess became my passion and a part of my daily routine. It taught me patience, focus, and creative thinking — qualities that I now love passing on to my students.
  • 2) Which artists or works inspire you the most?

In the world of chess, I’ve always admired Garry Kasparov for his energy and deep preparation, Magnus Carlsen for his creativity and calmness, and Vishy Anand for his humility and timeless class. Outside of chess, I’m inspired by anyone who keeps improving at their craft — musicians, athletes, or teachers who dedicate their lives to growth and excellence.
  • 3) What are the specific qualities or skills required to succeed in this area?

Success in chess requires patience, consistency, and curiosity. You must love solving problems and not fear mistakes — because every mistake teaches you something valuable. For a coach, empathy is equally important. Understanding each student’s mindset and helping them grow at their own pace is what truly makes a difference.
  • 4) What is the most valuable advice you can give to help someone stay focused on creative projects?

Don’t chase perfection — chase improvement. Whether in chess or any creative field, the key is to enjoy the process. Set small goals, stay consistent, and remind yourself why you started. I always tell my students: “You don’t have to be the best — you just have to be better than yesterday.”
  • 5) How would you describe your passion; how does it make you feel?

Chess gives me balance. It challenges my mind and teaches me how to stay calm under pressure. When I teach, I feel fulfilled — seeing students grow, understand new concepts, and apply them on the board is an amazing feeling. It’s not just teaching; it’s sharing a mindset.
  • 6) What creative achievements are you particularly proud of?

I’m proud of helping many students who began as complete beginners turn into confident, strategic players. Some have started winning local tournaments or online matches after consistent training. But the biggest achievement is seeing their love for chess grow — when students start studying and practicing on their own, I know I’ve done my job right.
  • 7) Have you ever been surprised by a student; by their ability or quick progression?

Yes, many times! Some students pick up complex concepts far quicker than expected — sometimes they find ideas or combinations that surprise even me. What’s most rewarding is watching a student’s confidence build up over time. Their curiosity and creativity often remind me why I started teaching in the first place.
  • 8) Being a Superprof is an art! What is your secret?

My secret is making learning personal and engaging. I never teach chess in a robotic way — I connect each lesson to how the student thinks. I mix practical play with fun challenges and relatable examples. My goal is simple: to make every student fall in love with learning chess and feel proud of their progress after every class.
