I really enjoy teaching students of any level, especially those who are inquisitive about the subject. My lessons are adaptable and always tailored to ensure that the sessions suit you personally, and are suitable for your current workload. I research and prepare thoroughly to ensure that I teach optimally to the syllabus that you follow, using my broad background knowledge of the subject to inject some fun along the way!
I will not expect any preparation for lessons, but can also provide you with additional web-based resources or exam questions if desired. I aim to include a wide range of visual resources and make my sessions interactive to give you lots of chance to practise and consolidate material. I am happy to provide written feedback, especially to those for whom English is not their first language.
I also can offer tutoring beyond the syllabus in preparation for science olympiads/challenges, admissions tests (e.g., NSAA, BMAT, UCAT) and interview preparation.

Fiona is a fantastic tutor, who I highly recommend. I found the sessions very interesting and helpful, and Fiona is very knowledgeable on many different aspects of Biology and Chemistry. She always prepared for each session by planning content in advance, which was tailored specifically to my interests and included areas of current scientific development. She is also reliable and patient, and gives great advice! My confidence has definitely increased because of her and I really enjoyed the tuition. I would highly recommend Fiona to any students thinking about applying to Oxbridge or Russel Group Universities for Biochemistry or a related subject. A big thank you to Fiona for really helping me and just being amazing!
