About Lydia

Hi, I’m a second-year Statistics student with strong academic experience in Economics from both high school and university level. I studied Economics in high school, continued with it in my first year, and am currently still studying it in my second year. I was also top in my class, which reflects my consistent understanding of the subject and strong academic performance.

I enjoy Economics because it teaches you how to think logically about systems, decisions, and outcomes. Over time, I’ve learned that success in the subject is not just about memorizing definitions, but about understanding how concepts connect and how to apply them effectively in exam questions.

I’m particularly strong in breaking down complex topics into simple, structured explanations. I also focus on helping students understand how to interpret questions correctly and structure their answers in a way that earns marks. Many students struggle not because they don’t know the content, but because they don’t fully understand what is being asked — this is something I help with directly.

As someone currently studying Statistics, I have developed strong analytical and problem-solving skills, which I also bring into my Economics tutoring. I take a calm, patient, and structured approach, and I aim to make lessons clear, focused, and easy to follow.
