I view history as a story, not just a list of dates. My teaching method combines mastering that narrative with actionable exam strategies. Typical lessons focus on understanding the "why" behind events while simultaneously building critical skills: analyzing primary source documents, structuring strong essays, and tackling multiple-choice questions with precision.
I incorporate gamification and skill-building to make complex topics engaging. Lessons focus on decoding AP rubrics, mastering DBQ/LEQ writing, and analyzing sources to understand the "story" of history.
