About Renee
I believe that everyone has the right to learn how to be an amazing reader. I feel that too often, teachers focus on statewide testing skills vs. the pillars of reading. Students need to feel listened to and heard in order to learn. Our students deserve to have a solid basis on which to learn and I believe that starts with good phonemic awareness and solid phonics instruction.
