About Franklin
I am an experienced Drum Tutor with over 9 years of teaching college students. I focus on helping learners develop rhythm accuracy, coordination, and performance confidence. My teaching style is calm and structured. I break down lessons into simple steps so students can understand easily. Strong basics are always my first priority. I use innovative methods like rhythm breakdown exercises, tempo control drills, and song-based learning.

My teaching approach for drums is focused on understanding, creativity, and steady improvement. I help students develop strong rhythm skills while enjoying the learning process.
I start by building a solid foundation in timing, coordination, and control. I encourage students to think critically about rhythms and how they fit into music. This builds confidence and musical awareness.
Creativity is developed through rhythm creation, beat variation, and guided improvisation. Lessons are interactive and adapted to each student’s learning speed.
As a mentor, I support students with clear direction and motivation. Accountability is maintained through structured practice routines and regular progress checks. Students learn discipline and consistency.
Along with drum lessons, I also teach related subjects such as tempo management, rhythm notation, and basic music theory. This helps students grow as independent musicians.
