About Amanda
Hi, I’m Amanda! I’m passionate about helping students feel confident and capable in their learning. I design every lesson to your needs, using quizzes, memory techniques, and clear explanations to make tricky topics easier. My 1-hour lessons include sections of targeted teaching alongside question practice and then a final review so you leave feeling stronger each time. I support students in boosting exam grades by always adapting to your style of learning and making sure lessons are engaging and focused on helping you succeed.

I focus on building confidence by first identifying weak areas through short quizzes and assessments, then tailoring lessons to each student. Every session is designed to match their learning style, combining a variety of techniques such as memory tools and exam strategies. My 1-hour lessons are structured with a clear balance of teaching, practice, and review, ensuring that students leave with a deeper and more lasting understanding of the subject. I have strong experience working with a wide range of learners. I have helped students significantly improve their exam results, including some who progressed from a grade 4 to a grade 7 in Maths at GCSE level. I have also supported English as a Second Language (ESL) learners, strengthening both their academic performance and confidence through bilingual lessons. In addition, I have guided younger students in preparing for internal exams at Tiffin School, and I have worked closely with students with autism and ADHD, carefully adapting my methods to keep lessons engaging, accessible, and effective.
