About Louie
I love writing and reading. I keep a reading journal every year where I have a goal of a hundred books, and I have achieved that goal the past three years. At university, I have completed creative writing courses and debated. I read a wide range from Charles Dickens to Leigh Bardugo.

I am able to work with students at any level to bring their literacy up to the expected standard. I know how to engage young people and work with their abilities. I have a diploma in speech and drama, which benefits the speech aspect of NCEA English. I have tutored English as well as Painting for two years with a Year 12 student going into Year 13. I like my tutoring sessions to be a minimum of an hour long and a maximum of three hours long. I am adaptable and work with the students preferences for learning.
