About Yookyung
Hi everyone!
I am a third year Biological Sciences student at Imperial College.
I have been tutoring since my first year, both in person and online. Some were one-to-one tutoring sessions but I used to work at an A Level academy for over a year, where I taught varying numbers of students from 1 to 8.
Lastly, something you might worry is my English skills for teaching. I've been living in the UK since Secondary school, completed my GCSEs and A Levels here, so half of my life as a student was in England. Also I have taught in English many times, so no need to worry about that.
I look forward to meet many Biology-struggling or enthusiastic students that will power through A Levels Biology with me :)

I understand how Biology can be difficult for some students as everyone has different things they are best at, but I can assure you that with my personalised guidance for each students' learning style, you will be able to reach the goals that you have set for yourself.
With Biology A Levels, it is very important to not only understand and know the content, but also to build up your question-solving ability to target those marks from each questions. This is because the questions are mostly application questions rather than straightforward definition questions, which means they are harder than GCSEs.
Therefore, the standard curriculum I will follow is 60% content teaching and 40% questions.
This may vary from time to time depending on what each students are capable of and how they absorb the informations taught.
The examboard I follow for my curriculum is Edexcel, but other examboards have fairly similar content so others are possible as well.
