About Linda
I'm an experienced teacher, trainer, facilitator and coach (International Coaching Federation). I hold an Advanced Course Certificate, Level 2b, SAPERE (Society for the Advancement of Philosophical Enquiry and Reflection in Education) in P4C (Philosophy for Children/Colleges/Communities) and have been using these skills for the last 15 years in secondary schools, sixth forms and in universities, particularly with post graduate PGCE students as a way of sharpening their teaching and learning techniques.
Thinking, questioning and reflecting are all skills that enhance accessing the depths of studies and the consolidation of ideas. These skills are also incredibly effective in enhancing personal wellbeing.

Thinking skills are truly a life skill that we don't often have chance to develop fully as we're often too occupied with information. Being able to identify the key concepts and raising questions enable you to get to grips with the subject matter and examine and manipulate and play with it from different perspectives: "...what if...?" "...if this is...then why is...?"
Students of subjects which have a philosophical and/or discursive nature (Philosophy, Ethics, Religious Studies, Law, English, History etc) will find this particularly beneficial.
