My teaching method is basing lessons off topics pupils struggle with, in that way the students would be more confident in completing topics they find difficult. I often do an end of lesson mini quiz just to see if my students have understood the lesson, these quizzes will range from multiple choice to a few mark questions. I tend to have end of lesson tests and mini assessments frequently as testing on a regular basis will make students more confident when sitting exams, there’s many occasions where pupils find that sitting exams can be intimidating and difficult, so testing my pupils regularly would increase their confidence, since they’d be used to it. I like my lessons to be fun - this is because you would want to do things you enjoy, so having fun lessons can make pupils enjoy learning English. Another teaching strategy I do is having interaction with pupils by asking them questions like what do they want to learn in this lesson today giving them a few options, in this way, students would look forward to upcoming lessons as they can have an opportunity to choose what they want to learn.
