About Vasiliki
I’m Vasiliki, an experienced educator and private tutor with over 10 years of teaching and support work in UK schools and more than a decade of one-to-one tutoring. I work with primary, secondary and adult learners, and I specialise in Ancient/ Modern Greek, Religious Education, Philosophy and Ethics. Having taught and supported classes across KS1–KS4, I understand how the curriculum works in practice and can adapt lessons to each student’s level, goals and learning style.
My approach is calm, structured and inclusive. I have extensive experience supporting EAL and SEND learners, including differentiated instruction, small-group work and 1:1 intervention. I hold a BA in Childhood Education Studies, a BA in Theology, and official recognition as a Religious Education teacher. Whether you need help with language skills, exam preparation, subject knowledge or building confidence, I aim to create a supportive space where students feel understood and can make steady progress.

Typical 1-Hour Session Structure
First 5–10 Mins: Check-in, review of previous work, and setting a clear goal.
Main Teaching (20–25 Mins): Step-by-step explanation of new concepts with real-time checks for understanding.
Practice (15–20 Mins): Guided and independent tasks (speaking, writing, analysis, or exam prep).
