About Spencer

Hi dear, I am currently a student at SFU studying computing science for the second year. My math courses never drop below A and I believe everyone has their own pace and style of learning math. Throughout my university life, I helped my classmates get through their hard times with math and also act as a peer educator at school. After all, people that I helped overcome math quicker and easier. What was funny is that almost all of them call me Professor Han after I taught them. My goal is to create a positive and encouraging learning environment where students feel comfortable asking questions. I am detail-oriented, reliable, and always well-prepared for each lesson. I strive not only to improve grades but also to build confidence and independent problem-solving skills in my students. Looking forward to talking with you!

About the lesson

I provide personalized math lessons for high school and early university students, including subjects like algebra, calculus, and linear algebra. My teaching approach is step-by-step, with a focus on building strong conceptual understanding and confidence. A typical lesson includes: • A quick review of key concepts • Interactive problem-solving • Practice questions with detailed explanations • Time for questions and clarification I adapt my lessons to each student’s pace and learning style, ensuring they feel supported and encouraged. My goal is to make math clear, approachable, and even fun—no stress, just steady progress. Whether you’re looking to improve your grades, prepare for a test, or strengthen fundamentals, I’m here to help!

Be the master of math, be the greatest in exams, be what you wanted!
