About Lucas
You arrive at this space to translate your internal thoughts into audible stories. Having worked with 161 students, I understand the unique hurdles that content creators and beginners face. We focus on melody writing and the mechanics of melodic phrasing. My role involves sharpening your rhyme schemes and meter.
I help you navigate genre conventions across pop, country, folk, and R&B. Editing and rewriting are where the real magic happens, so we practice those tools daily. You learn how to build dynamics across a song to keep listeners engaged.
We examine point of view and perspective to ensure your lyrics resonate deeply. My goal is to ground your creative impulses in harmony basics. Everything leads toward finishing music that reflects your personal voice.

The first session starts with the scratchy sound of pencil hitting paper as we brainstorm your core themes. You receive detailed feedback on your own tracks every week to refine your craft over our 3 years of shared experience. My approach ensures that working musicians and career switchers alike find a path toward stronger songwriting.
We spend time exploring how melodic phrasing shapes the emotional impact of a verse. You discover how to arrange harmony basics to support the strength of your lyrical perspective. Building dynamics across a song becomes a logical process rather than a guessing game.
We analyze rhyme schemes and meter to ensure your songs flow naturally. I offer insight into genre conventions so you can break them effectively when needed. Editing and rewriting turn rough drafts into polished pieces that you feel proud to share. It is genuinely enjoyable to watch a new melody find its perfect place.
