I am Shyamasri, a qualified and experienced Sanskrit educator with a strong academic background and a passion for teaching. I hold an M.A. in Sanskrit, B.Ed., and have successfully qualified TET and UGC-NET, demonstrating my commitment to academic excellence and professional standards in education.
With more than 12 years of teaching experience, I have worked with students from diverse academic levels and learning backgrounds. Currently, I am serving as a Sanskrit Teacher at DAV Model School, IIT Kharagpur, where I help students develop a strong foundation in the language while fostering confidence and a genuine interest in learning.
My teaching philosophy is based on clarity, patience, and student-centered learning. I believe that Sanskrit can be both enjoyable and accessible when taught through simple explanations, interactive discussions, regular practice, and real-life examples. I strive to create a supportive classroom environment where students feel comfortable asking questions and actively participating in lessons.

I am a dedicated Sanskrit teacher with more than 12 years of teaching experience. My goal is to make Sanskrit simple, interesting, and enjoyable for learners of all ages and backgrounds. I believe that every student can learn Sanskrit effectively when concepts are explained in a clear, systematic, and engaging manner.
My teaching approach focuses on building a strong foundation in grammar, vocabulary, pronunciation, and sentence formation. I use interactive teaching techniques, including examples from daily life, storytelling, question-answer sessions, worksheets, and regular practice exercises. I also encourage students to participate actively in discussions to improve their confidence and understanding of the language.
A typical class begins with a brief revision of previous lessons, followed by the introduction of new concepts. I explain topics step by step, provide examples, and conduct guided practice. The session concludes with exercises, doubt-clearing, and feedback to ensure that students have understood the lesson thoroughly.
One of my special features as a teacher is my ability to simplify complex grammatical concepts such as Sandhi, Samasa, Karaka, Dhatu forms, and Lakaras. I adapt my teaching style according to each student’s learning pace and academic requirements. I also provide exam-oriented preparation, customized study materials, and regular assessments to track progress.
My classes are intended for school students, college learners, and adults who wish to learn Sanskrit for academic, professional, or personal interest.
