My name is Anraj Kohli, and I graduated from the Shri Ram School, Moulsari, as part of the batch of 2020. I approached Biloza ma’am during the time I was planning to take the ACT. Biloza Ma’am’s influence on my grasp of the English language is a large part of why I was able to secure a 35 in the English component of my ACT. She has always been very patient and detailed in her teaching, allocating sufficient time to teach each concept. Her friendly and flexible nature also helped make my experience with her a breeze. I took classes with Biloza ma’am for the months leading up to the SAT and she guided me through both my attempts. One thing that sets her apart from other teachers is that she doesn’t dive straight into the SAT questions. Instead, she first strengthens the grammar and language fundamentals of her students and then goes through SAT style questions for each topic.

Scoring well in SAT English is not just about knowledge in the subject, but also about implementing certain strategies. I found Biloza ma’am to be quite experienced in this regard. She would take us through the thought process for different questions. When we would discuss doubts in the reading and writing section, she could pick out which options we must have chosen. This made her experience even more apparent. Hence, she can cater to each student’s needs appropriately.

I have found Biloza ma’am to be flexible with her teaching method and timings. She takes feedback from students well. As a teacher, she is quite fun and sometimes cracks witty jokes to ensure that classes don’t become dull - something that is otherwise quite possible when studying certain English grammar rules.

Ultimately, I would definitely recommend Biloza ma’am to any student who is just starting with their SAT prep or is even mid way through it just so that she can evaluate the preparedness. I would also advise her students to make the most out of the classes—be vocal, ask her doubts, do homework on time, and involve her in the practice you do separately. Always keep her in the loop.
