About Behin
Hello, my name is Behin. I am a TESOL Canada certified English tutor and have been teaching English since 2020. I hold a Bachelor’s degree in Graphic Design and I am currently studying Psychology with a minor in Management and Leadership at the University of Sydney. Alongside my TESOL certification, I have also completed additional training in Teaching Business English and hold a CELTA Express certificate, which further strengthened my professional teaching skills.
Over the past few years, I have taught students from different backgrounds, age groups, and language levels. This experience has helped me develop a flexible and professional teaching approach that adapts to each student’s needs and learning goals. Whether a student wants to improve general English, academic English, or professional communication, I work to create lessons that are clear, engaging, and effective.
I am passionate about languages and communication. In addition to English, I enjoy learning other languages and have studied some German, French, Spanish, and Turkish. Being a language learner myself helps me understand the challenges students face when learning a new language, and it allows me to support them with patience and practical strategies.
Students can expect a respectful, supportive, and well-structured learning environment in my lessons. I always aim to help learners build confidence, improve their skills step by step, and feel comfortable using English in real-world situations.

My name is Behin and I have been teaching English since 2020 after receiving my TESOL Canada certification. I hold a Bachelor’s degree in Graphic Design and I am currently studying Psychology with a minor in Management and Leadership at the University of Sydney. My background in psychology allows me to better understand how people learn languages and how to build confidence in speaking and communication.
I have always been passionate about languages and communication. In addition to English, I enjoy learning other languages and I have studied a bit of German, French, Spanish, and Turkish. Because I am also a language learner myself, I understand the challenges students face when learning a new language, and I try to make my lessons supportive, practical, and encouraging.
My tutoring style focuses on creating a relaxed and engaging learning environment. I believe students learn best when they feel comfortable expressing themselves and making mistakes as part of the learning process. Because of this, my lessons often include open discussions, practical conversations, and real-life topics that help students use English naturally rather than just memorising rules.
In my classes I focus on developing all four core language skills: speaking, listening, reading, and writing. Depending on the student’s goals, we may work on conversational fluency, grammar improvement, essay writing, pronunciation, or vocabulary building. I also enjoy incorporating free discussion sessions where students can practice expressing their ideas and opinions in English.
A typical lesson is around 60 minutes and is designed to be interactive rather than lecture-based. Lessons usually start with a short conversation warm-up, followed by focused activities that target specific skills, and end with feedback and guidance for improvement. Every lesson is adapted to the student’s level, pace, and learning style.
My lessons are suitable for learners of all levels, from beginners who are just starting their English journey to more advanced students who want to refine their communication skills. I work with teenagers, university students, and adults who want to improve their English for study, work, travel, or everyday communication.
My goal as a tutor is not only to teach English but also to help students feel confident using the language in real-world situations.
