About Natalie
I have a foundation degree in English Language, Literature and Creative Writing from the University of Plymouth, for which I achieved a Distinction grade. I am in my final year of study and will achieve my BA in June 2026. I hold a 120-hour TEFL certificate, plus 2 extra TEFL courses, including creating class materials and live, practical classes in teaching English online. I have been teaching English online for over a year and I have 15 years experience teaching face-to-face classes in various subjects to groups and individual students.

Hi! My name is Natalie and I’m a native English speaker from the UK with a love for language and communication. I’m passionate about helping others grow in confidence with their English. I teach all ages from children to adult learners.
For adults, I tailor the classes to your level and needs. Some students want to focus on specific elements such as grammar, pronunciation, or English for business or travel. Other students want to practise conversation skills with a qualified, native speaker. For conversation classes I can design thoughtful questions and prompts based on your interests and needs.
For young children, I incorporate songs, storytelling, games, and visual aids to help with understanding and memory. For older students, we focus more on speaking, vocabulary building, pronunciation, and grammar in a fun and interactive way.
I have developed an effective and structured curriculum for children which means that I can meet your child where they are and support them with proven learning materials and methods. In my classroom, we have fun while learning. I use clear instructions, lots of encouragement, and engaging activities to help learners stay focused and motivated. I always aim to create a calm and positive learning space where students feel safe, supported, and excited to learn.
My teaching style is warm and patient, and I always adjust my approach based on the student’s age, level, and interests. Whether you are a beginner or already know some English, I work with you at your own pace and make sure you feel confident every step of the way.
