About Allison
Hi, I'm Allison! I'm a TEFL certified tutor with over 6 years of experience teaching English online to students of all ages and levels from around the world. My specialty is helping learners communicate naturally and effectively in real-world settings. A little about me... I'm from the USA, but I currently live and teach from Buenos Aires, Argentina. Having studied Spanish for six years, I am also a student, so I completely understand the challenges of learning a new language. I have been able to apply this knowledge to how I guide my students, creating supportive lessons that help you build the confidence and tools to push through barriers and truly start connecting in English. Beyond teaching, my passions are travel, photography, and food! My love for meeting new people and learning about their culture is one of the many reasons I find teaching so rewarding.

My classes directly address this, focusing on confidence building so you feel comfortable and prepared using English in any real-world situation, whether at work, school, or socially. Every single lesson is customized to your current level, interests, and specific communication goals. I am also a huge fan of teaching phrasal verbs and idioms. This is something many of my students love to learn in order to understand informal expressions and how natives actually speak.
