About Jacob
I believe all languages can be acquired with consistent exposure, practice, and patience. I know self-confidence massively impacts language development, and therefore include motivational feedback and periodic assessments to provide ny students evidence of their language learning progress. Mistakes are okay, and it is also normal to have self-doubts! In fact, reflecting on these moments actually helps long-term language learning skills! We learn from our errors...and everybody makes mistakes!

In December 2023, I will graduate from California State University in Fresno with a bachelor's degree in English Education. I also have an emphasis in creative writing and am a published writer myself, so if you are interested in writing poems or stories (especially in English), I will be more than happy to help! As a language learner and active supporter of refugees and immigrants, I am deeply empathetic toward people who are learning another language and culture, whether by choice or by obligation. I therefore have a tremendous amount of patience for all my students, but know how to keep my students engaged with individualized lesson plans.
