About David
I have been teaching full spectrum of students from Infants (5 year olds), primary school students, high school students and business English to adult professionals for the last 1.5 years. I can teach between A1-C2 students and most of my children have had very little exposure to English. Last year I had very good results with my 5 year old infants as I took kids who spoke virtually no English to them running up to me excited and yelling "Teacher, teacher! ", In almost perfect English.

I am trained in the PPP method (Presentation, Practice, Production). My methods specialize in young child learners between 5 years old and 8 years old who are just learning vocabulary like nouns, verb tenses and prepositions as well as sentence structure as well as professional adults looking to reduce their accents and to be corrected during conversation classes (Phonetics). I do not simply teach vocabulary without sentence structures. Phrases and sentences are the best way to learn because that's how we learn how to string all of those fancy new vocabulary words together.

Dear Recruiting Representative,
It is with great pleasure that I recommend Davidfor the position of English teacher.
David was the general manager at Coffee Bean and Tea Leaf from 2007-2012, during which time I was also employed as a shift supervisor.
It was an absolute joy to work for such a positive and supportive manager, and I know that our entire team shared my sentiments. I worked at this location both before and after David’s employment here, and we experienced the least amount of turnover under his leadership.
David is one of friendliest people I have met and was very adept at engaging customers and team members alike with his easy and gregarious nature. He encouraged camaraderie amongst the staff and led by example as he was approachable and willing to listen to new ideas. He inspired our team to be the best employees we could be. David is perceptive and noticed I had a passion for tea that I wished to share with our customers. He urged me to take my interest further and provided me with the opportunity to learn from the tea director at our company and I was able to become a certified tea specialist; a skill that became an asset to our store by increasing team member knowledge and sales through in store tea tastings and seminars. It was a common occurrence for David to identify particular abilities in his staff and seek ways to develop those strengths to benefit the store and the career of the individual. Instead of berating staff into upselling, he found creative and positive ways to foster personal responsibility in his employees.
David trained me and I witnessed him train other team members during our five years working together, so I can say from experience that he is a patient and effective teacher. He takes the time and uses various methods to ensure that the material is fully understood, and effectively uses humor to minimize any frustrations from the student. He focuses on the individual student and personalizes each lesson accordingly.
I would welcome the opportunity to work with David again at any time and can confidently recommend that you add him to your team. He is inquisitive, enthusiastic, and has boundless energy to contribute.
Best wishes,
Mariah
