About George

I am from the U.S. and I am TEFL certified and have 12 years experience teaching English in institutes and universities in Colombia, South America. I have taught literally hundreds of students in the last 12 years. I have taught large groups and small groups and many one-on-one classes as well. I have taught many classes via Skype as well. I have prepared students for the IELTS and TOEFL exams and have had the privilege of seeing most of them pass their exams and be able to continue on with their professional careers. I have taught traditional grammar-based classes as well as more casual conversational classes. I have helped students with their resumes and also preparing for an interview.

About the lesson

Hello! I like to teach by using fun activities and movie clips, etc. I explain the grammar and often use Powerpoint presentations with pictures to get the student to use the target language. I usually spend the first half of the class on explanation and activities and the second half of the class on conversation. I am very patient with my students and do my best to make them feel comfortable in class.

Perfect!

He was my English teacher few years ago. He is excellent and I can recommend him if you are interested in learn or improve English language. He likes his students can talk with confidence and fluently, he helped me to improbe my English language before I could travel to England. He is patient as well as firm with the people to get confidence in the learning.
