About Hannah
I’m an artist and an experienced tutor and creative educator with over 20 years of teaching and facilitation experience across education and community settings. I specialise in English, academic writing, and exam preparation, and I’ve worked with a wide range of learners, including neurodivergent students, young people, refugees and adults returning to work/study.
My approach is supportive, practical, and tailored to each student. I focus on building confidence as well as skills — whether that’s improving writing, preparing for exams, developing clear communication, or strengthening study techniques. Lessons are structured but flexible, and always adapted to your goals and learning style.
Alongside my tutoring work, I’m continuing my studies in Cultural Psychology and Psychiatry, which deepens how I understand learning, motivation, and individual differences — and this informs how I support my students.

I am a creative facilitator, teacher, and artist who believes in education and creativity. I hold a fully accredited TEFL and NCFE Level 3 Award in Education and Training and have over 20 years of experience teaching.
Learning and creativity have always been at the centre of any project I am involved in.
Understanding the way each individual approaches their learning is a key focus of mine and I believe because of this I can tailor learning journeys that respond to each learner’s level and needs while also making things fun and creative.
I have been teaching for over 20 years and have experience working with all age groups.
My teaching style is structured, but also fun! I believe in making each student's learning journey unique to them, and believe that by doing so, language retention is higher. Everyone's learning journey becomes faster if they are interested and engaged with the subject matter. If my students have specific requests or reasons for wanting to develop their skills we can work towards these goals together at a pace that suits them. Most of all I believe that learning should be fun.
