About Vaishak
I'm Vaishakh, a B.Tech Computer Science student with a deep-rooted passion for dance and storytelling through movement. Alongside my academic journey, I have dedicated myself to learning and teaching Bharatanatyam, Contemporary, Bollywood, and Freestyle dance styles. Dance has always been more than just performance for me—it's a language of emotion, discipline, and creativity. From choreographing school and college-level productions to helping beginners discover their rhythm, I find joy in guiding others on their artistic journey. I specialize in creating custom choreographies for youth festivals, Kalolsavam, school annual days, and cultural events. My approach is friendly yet structured, blending the grace of classical Bharatanatyam, the fluidity of contemporary, and the energy of cinematic dance. I focus on making each student feel confident, expressive, and connected to the art. Whether you're a complete beginner, a student preparing for competitions, or someone simply wanting to enjoy the beauty of dance, I welcome you to join me. Together, we’ll build skill, stage presence, and most importantly—a love for dance.

As a B.Tech student with a passion for performance and choreography, I specialize in teaching Bharatanatyam, Contemporary, Bollywood, and Freestyle dance. I blend tradition with creativity, offering classes that are engaging, expressive, and tailored to each student’s journey—whether you're a beginner or preparing for the stage. Teaching Techniques and Methods I follow a layered approach: For Bharatanatyam, I focus on adavu training, mudras, rhythm (tala), and abhinaya (expression), slowly introducing students to pieces like alarippu, jatiswaram, and padam based on their level. In Contemporary and Freestyle, I emphasize fluidity, body alignment, and musicality, using floor work, balance exercises, and emotion-driven movement. For Bollywood/Cinematic, I break down choreography into easy-to-grasp steps, using repetition and rhythm-counting for quick learning and clean execution.
