About Thiago
The classes will have a dynamism with the theory and practice of teaching the Brazilian Language of Signals. Students will have a basic knowledge to produce the target language spontaneously and directly. I use ludic pedagogical activities that allow alunato to have an acquisition of the linguistic knowledge that will enable effective and clear communication. Always questioning the specificity of each student and its implications / influence in the teaching-learning process. Thus, the individual and unique assessments according to the levels, performance and intimacy with the Pounds.

I had contact with Libras when I was 13 years old and it was because of my mother. She, as a teacher too, took a basic Prasa course and showed me what she had learned over the course of the course. That aroused my curiosity and I enrolled in High School in the same school as she attended Libras. The school was inclusive and, on a weekly basis, taught the subject of Libras as a compulsory subject. I had a basic and introductory knowledge through it. But it was with direct contact at school with surd students enrolled that I gained more fluency. In a few months, I was able to have a greater vision and understanding of the language and how to communicate. Hence, I was performing inclusive and interacting actions as the hearing and deaf community within the school. In 2014, I spent in IFMA. There I had the opportunity to be a Libras monitor, to carry out projects of inclusion and teaching of Libras, to give lectures, to take courses of Pounds for the school community and to be interpreter of Pounds. Currently, I am graduating in Letras-Pounds at UFT. In addition to the academic training in progress, I have been a teacher and interpreter of Libras for two years by the Municipal Department of Education, specialized in the educational service of the deaf person.
