Every student learns differently, so I tailor each lesson to suit their pace, goals, and learning style. My lessons are designed to be engaging, encouraging, and structured, helping students build confidence while developing strong musical foundations. Lessons may include technique, sight-reading, aural training, music theory, and repertoire, depending on the student's needs.
Lessons are available in English, Mandarin, and Bahasa Melayu. I welcome children, teens, and adults, from beginners to intermediate levels. Whether learning for enjoyment, examinations (ABRSM/Trinity), performances, or competitions, students will receive personalized guidance in a supportive and enjoyable learning environment. My goal is to help every student develop both musical skills and a lifelong appreciation for music.

The first free lesson with Jia Ying will allow you to get to know each other and clearly specify your needs for your next lessons.

Details
Monthly fees are payable before the 10th of each month. Lessons are conducted once a week and follow a four-lesson-per-month schedule. No classes are held on public holidays or during the 5th week of months with five lesson weeks. Students preparing for examinations may be required to purchase their own examination books and materials. A fixed travel charge of RM20 applies for home lessons.
