About Sydney
Hi, I'm Sydney! I have a Bachelor's degree in Exercise Science and am currently working on my Master's in Theology. I absolutely love learning and expanding my knowledge, which has historically overflowed into a diverse range of teaching opportunities. With over 8 years of cumulative teaching experience, I have had the privilege of tutoring high-school aged special needs students in a variety of subjects, provided private tutoring 1:1 with an elementary aged student in math and reading comprehension, and have also enjoyed teaching ballet movement classes to cancer patients and survivors for over a year now. After spending these last 3+ years coaching adult refugees in the English language through conversational techniques, I have chosen to pursue my teaching certification through The TEFL Org., and will have successfully completed the Level 5 TEFL Degree (with Business English) by April 2026. I am excited to combine this prestigious, internationally recognized and accredited certification with nearly 11 years of corporate success in customer service, sales, marketing, and operational business acumen to help adults and young adults advance their English speaking skill set for both work and life!
