As a bilingual native Arabic–English speaker with strong cultural understanding and fluency in reading, writing, and
interpretation. Completed advanced Arabic studies after early Arabic schooling. And have been a self-employed freelancer| 2022 - Present. Additionally, I have experience in translating diverse texts and formats (articles, stories, conversations, online content, and simple legal documents) across academic, personal, and professional projects, as well as carrying out real-life translation tasks for family and community members (tutored students primary-secondary; for both Arabic and English). Some qualifications I hold as a current tertiary student & part-time tutor; Victorian Certificate of Education (VCE), VCAA Diploma Graduation Certificate, VCE Statement of Arabic course completion, VSL Certificate II in Applied Language and Statement of attainment providing CPR and First Aid.

Typically my teaching method sets off by getting to know my student and assessing their level through conversation/exercises to understand their level as a learner. Some techniques involve interactive student-centered lessons, according to each learner’s goals. I focus on developing skills through conversation, guided tasks, and practical exercises. I explain concepts clearly, and gently correct mistakes to ensure students feel comfortable and confident as their abilities progress.
A typical lesson starts with a short review of previous material, followed by introducing a new topic or skill. We then practice through conversation, examples, and exercises. Throughout the lesson, I assess understanding and application. I end each lesson with clear feedback, tips, and ways for the student to practice independently so they retain what they’ve learned until the next lesson.
I like to maintain patience, encouragement, and flexibility as I prioritize the advancement of nurturing my students' learning.
I don't have rigid limits for my lessons, as they are suitable for complete beginners to intermediate learners (children-adults) including students who are new to English or Arabic, as well as those who already have some knowledge and want to improve their speaking, reading, or writing, or are in secondary school and need some assistance with their advancing Arabic standards. Students are welcome to message me so we can discuss their goals and find the best approach for them.

Had a interaction with Fatima, I met her in a library as a uni student studying to become a translator. Fatima was my classmate back at school, she used to give me tutoring lessons during break times for arabic, i strongly recommend her as a arabic tutor she is strong in her field, fluent as arabic is her mothers tongue. She has a excellent way of teaching as she ensures you understand using examples, clear explanations and makes you practice with her. Before neeting her i had a tutor online on zoom that felt pretty unreliable but with Fatima i felt her diligence and commitment to actually seeing me improve and understand in a enviornent where you feel comfortable and lighthearted therefore making the lesson itself not just informative but also entertaining.
