About Stephen
I am of the Jewish faith and started taking Hebrew lessons when I was 10 years old. The lessons only focused on reading to prepare you for your Bar Mitzvah. After graduating from the University, I spent 1.3 years living in Israel on the Kibbutz studying Hebrew as well as working with the fellow members. Previously, I have taught Hebrew in synagogues and evening classes in a parochial school.

To learn Hebrew, it takes much practice. I have taught beginning students how to read Hebrew and be able to translate simple stories. The lessons are very interactive and have had much success. For an hour lesson, we will spend approximately 40 minutes on reading and learning the alphabet and the other 20 on vocabulary. The most effective lessons are in person.
