About Tyler

I have been teaching and tutoring middle school and high school math for over 10 years, starting as a math tutor in college. I struggled with math myself in high school, and that gives me the ability to relate to struggling students. I have also built my skills over the years to help push excelling students in math as well.

About the lesson

My lessons focus on meeting students where they are and helping them grow. I use a combination of direct instruction, guided practice, and independent problem-solving to build understanding and confidence. I also regularly review previously learned skills to help students retain what they've learned and continue progressing.
