About Maimuna
I am studying high school teaching English and computer science. I have dealt intensively with the English Abi and know the know-how. Even in high school, I often gave private English tuition. I have been working in summer camps in the USA and Switzerland for four years and mostly only speak English there. Before the pandemic and the measures, I worked as a substitute in the high school.

I mainly work multimedia and audiovisual. For me it is important that the students not only hear me speak 90% of the time, but that they also apply what they have learned themselves. The goal is to hear, read, observe and do it yourself. By also working with creative and challenging tasks, the direct transfer of theory into practice is required. This once again consolidates the skills you have learned.

Mai hat mir durch mein Englisch-Abitur letztes Jahr geholfen. Sie ist in jeder Hinsicht eine gute Lehrerin. Ich kann mich weder über das Fachliche noch über alles andere Drumherum beschweren. Sie war immer sehr gut vorbereitet und hatte eine große Sammlung an Lehrmaterial, das gut auf die Ansprüche des Abis zugeschnitten waren. Außerdem hat sie ein gutes Gefühl dafür gehabt, in welchem Tempo wir arbeiten. Ich habe mich immer herausgefordert, aber nie überfordert gefühlt. Sie hat ein gutes System und ein gutes Zeitmanagement. Bis zum Abi haben wir es geschafft alle meine Lücken nachzuholen. Meine Noten vorher lagen im Bereich 3-6 Punkte. Bestanden habe ich das Abi am Ende mit 11 Punkten, worüber ich sehr glücklich bin.
Mai ist eine super Nachhilfelehrerin. Sie hat mir in Englisch viel geholfen, damit ich die Klausur mit einer guten Note bestehe. Sie gibt tolle Lerntipps und ist organisiert. Kann sie nur weiterempfehlen!
