About Diana
Hello! My name is Diana Chumillas. I have been giving private classes to different families for several years at levels from 1st grade to 4th grade, including adolescents from bilingual institutes. I have a well-established methodology, which follows guidelines such as continuous communication with parents about the evolution of their children, the detection of weaknesses in the children's school performance and their reinforcement or the implementation of motivational and organizational strategies for the improvement of the performance of minors. As a personal introduction, I am a university student. I have attended a bilingual institute, studying half of the subjects in French, thus making the selectivity in both languages. I have the First Certificate and the title that accredits me a B2 level in French. I am currently working towards a C1 (advanced) level in both languages. In both English and French my level of communication, listening, and understanding is high. In selectivity I reached a grade of 12.8, I had a high average in Baccalaureate. In the race I currently have an average of 7.5. I like to provide personal support material to the boys to have a more effective follow-up. I consider myself a hard-working, tenacious and constant person. When I started college, I had to choose between the degree I'm currently pursuing and the teaching degree since I like to teach, support and collaborate with children throughout their educational history. I transmit confidence and warmth, I consider it essential to respect the young person and their abilities, expecting the same in reverse without, of course, forgetting the educational context in which my teaching activity takes place and my serene position at the time of establish limits, assignments or highlight mistakes made throughout the classes. After several years, I have a well-structured methodology that so far has given me good results. I reinforce those subjects that at the request of the parents or the child themselves. I begin by establishing a framework to see where the difficulty is and which parts of the same subject you handle more fluently. Then I proceed to explain what is not understood by the student, to do reinforcement exercises and to use my own complementary material. Sometimes, if the parents agree, I like to send homework for the next class.
