About Lindsey
Greetings!
My name is Teacher Lindsey.
I have a 4 years Bachelor’s Degree in Foundation Phase and have taught in the physical classroom for 2 years. Although, I have also taught online for 6 months. In addition, I have recently completed a 150h Master course in TESOL/TEFL with Global Language Training. Therefore, I am able to teach English as a Foreign Language as well to speakers of other languages. Nevertheless, I am also a qualified ECD practitioner and have completed a Postgraduate Diploma in Inclusive Education. However, I can teach English to both children as well as adults due to completing an Adult Basic Education and Training course.
In terms of teaching in the physical classrooms, I have done relief teaching for where needed at the various schools in East London 2 years.
Furthermore, despite having that 2 years experience in the physical classroom, I have had that additional 4 years experience as a Teacher assistant.

I am computer literate, self-motivated, creative, friendly, enthusiastic, diligent, organised and reliable. A great deal of input is placed in the preparation of lessons and I'm an easily approachable person.
My main aim as an online teacher is to create the best possible learning experience for all my students in a positive, safe but yet friendly and inclusive classroom for where I tend to take great care in helping them to reach their fullest potential. Therefore, lessons would be based around your interests and needs. In terms of resources and one's expectations, students can expect fun, engaging and exciting lessons with relaxed topic-based conversations and discussions, games, activities, videos, powerpoint presentations and so much more.
