About Amie
I have been in education for 26 years. I taught 3rd grade for 19 and was a Title I reading teacher for 5. The last two years I am our district’s K-5 curriculum and instructional coach. I work with teachers helping them to learn the best practices needed to teach reading, spelling, grammar and writing. I love working with children of all ages and all different kinds of learning styles. I have even tutored my own children with their reading skills. My passion has always been working with kids and my love is reading! What a great combination to be your tutor.
