I have been learning Carnatic vocals from Vindhyavali Ma'am for about a year now. And I am really touched by the compassion and passion for music she brings to the classes. I learn online, and I love the systems she has in place that allows for an amazing distance learning as well.
Through her, I've not just learnt how the complexity of carnatic music can be simplified to each student's capacity, but also how music is also a spiritual path - an offering to the divine, a meditation.

I have been learning Carnatic Music from Mrs. Vindhyavali garu since 1 year. And I feel this has been one of the best decisions of my life.

I have always been interested in classical arts, but didn't have the time to pursue it till now. I am glad, I could ultimately start my Sangeeta sadhana under Ma'am 's guidance.

She is very patient, and explains all my doubts clearly. And she is very keen. She will easily catch my mistakes and correct it multiple times. If I am unable to catch the nuance of a particular raaga, she teaches it in a different method. She easily grasps the pulse of her students and teaches her students from their level.

I am enjoying my classes under her, and I have decided to be her student for as long as possible (read for next few years).

As a learner in my 40s, I find Vindhyavali very patient and encouraging. She follows a traditional model that allows for settling of the mind before beginning of the vocals, and then gradually builds up the exercises that allow you to start finding your own flow and ease in stretching your capacity. She brings patience and professionalism into the journey; and corrects and pushes you with a lightness which is rare.

She is a truly encouraging and super supportive tutor . With a positive attitude and a very organised way of teaching , she really creates enthusiasm and makes sure that we practice . You gain lot of confidence that we can sing almost anything with her positive reinforcement and constructive feedbacks. The classes are super fun which include various exercises and many songs of different levels and even complex concepts are made easy using simple tips and tricks . There’s lot of interactive learning . She’s given me so much of comfort that she truly became a good friend.
